For years I’ve been hoping to find a natural way to cure acne from the root (which bothering me since Secondary 5 after a round of hormone change) but nope I still can’t get ride of those whitehead (clogged pore). I eat vitamins, health supplement product (personally feel that it do help, but I stop that since 1st pregnancy till now breastfeeding, as I worrying too much of it will affect my baby in someway), drink lot of water (which am still doing, but breastfeeding cause me to dehydrate), less makeup (yes, very seldom). The only thing I don’t do is exercise, which I feel that it can greatly help as it can help to combat stress but I’m too busy with work and kids. So how to? And to target the root, this can really take very long according to dermatologist, be it with the help of medications, skin care products, diet, lifestyle. I think stress and hormone level are the main cause. Stress and acne are related and our hormone levels are intricately connected with acne formation.
I’m always on the lookout for ways to combat stress. Stress can wreak havoc with hormone levels and aggravate breakouts as stress activates the adrenal gland. I am not those kind of stress person, usually 天塌下来, 我都可以当被盖. The only thing is that I lack of beauty sleep (which is another main cause), and have been overworked and hence Voila…breakouts. I have clogged skin which is really depth inside according to my dermatologist and so it’s not obvious to people who didn’t close up see my complexion. Ageing is another huge battle, pigmentation, saggy undereye and fine line (due to dryness on the surface of the skin) starts emerge. I know there is nothing to do with the product I use, all are got to do with my body , the hormone. How come I so suay, I ‘m just 29 years old ok. But am glads that with the use of my current skincare product from Joyce Lim dermatologist that I have been with them for more than 7 years, my complexion do get so much better than before, very seldom breakout though there are still some whitehead which is very depth inside the skin to be get rid of. Fine line is another big problem, since I breastfeeding. Still using hydrating products, hoping for less of fine lines. As for the saggy skin undereyes, there is no hope to improve it except doing filler (which I’m not comfortable with). To prevent it from getting much worst, I’m using some eye product from Joyce Lim too.

Readers emailed me to share my skincare product. Aiyo but most of my product are from dermatologist leh. Anyway I shall just write something about it today.

During the period where my maid infected with Chicken pox, due to very busy schedule. I didn't really have the time to take care my skin, applying those skincare product and doing treatment. Hence, recently I noticed that my skin getting slightly worst. A few pimples start popping out, getting worry so start working hard on it again.

Secret to combat my acne is this -〉

got it at Joyce Lim Skin Specialist. If you are not their patient, you're unable to buy it. :P

CLEANE uses a new BT technology (Blue light and thermal shock system) to remove the causative microorganism within acne (propioni bacterium), clearing the skin of pimples. It delivers Blue Light Ray and Thermal Shock to the affected area, inducing hetropeptidic protein reaction ultimately leading to clearer skin. It works against propioni bacterium acne best when it is treated at the initial or intermediate stage so the most effective way to treat pimple is to us CLEANE as early as possible.

This is one of the product I found when I doing research on CO2 and when I visit my company Aesthetics for microdermabrasion.

after doing microdermabrasion, the nurse put on mask (not CO2 gel mask that i mentioned) for me.

Good review of this CO2 gel mask from the doctors and staffs there so I bought one box to try! Using it for months, but it is too expensive to be recommended to friends lah. Lol~

Oxygen: Each and every one of our cells need oxygen to live, I am looking into how oxygen specifically affects the causes of acne. Oxygen or the lack thereof, may play a part in acne formation.

This CO2 gel mask is developed to counter problem such as dermatitis. The objective of the product is to create effective and safe use of “Carbon Dioxide Gas (CO2)” technology for skin healing. It activates erthrocytes to supply more oxygen to dermal cells and therefore activates cell metabolism. Natural biological functions of the skin can be maximized and all kinds of skin problems can be settled at cellular level. I usally use it if I have huge acne or after microdermabrasion. If not will be after once every two weeks. Too expensive to use it often, only if I have that money lah.

A pack of CO2 Gel Mask consisting of two components to be mixed – gel and granule. Carbon Dioxide gas (active ingredient) is generated inside the gel by mixing the granule with it.

So what it help in?
  • Skin brightening
  • Skin Texture Refining
  • Suppression of Acne Development
  • Lifting of Saggy Cheek
  • Reduce redness of face after Laser, IPL, Peeling or Roller treatment
There are only 2 type of mask I am using now, one is this CO2 Gel Mask and the other one will be Kose Black Mask which i very good too (Don't have a pic of it as I left the mask in my parent's house).

Shall stop here... nothing much already

Hee! Hubby saw my drawer this morning. He never open it before, just when he was searching for his stuff, he opened it and "WOW! Power of Love!"
wahaha these is not all, I still have 2 mall drawers of foundations and products.

going to eat my dinner now. :P
As requested, I will write about my makeup once I have more time.

Anonymous 1, You can get it from NUH Aesthetic clinic at Kent Ridge Wing Building. I think public can buy it from them. The CO2 Gel Mask is $401 per box for 10 sachets. As for the products from joyce lim, it's price range start from $20 to a few hundred. For the acne device is $200+

Anonymous 2, ^_^ the hydrating lotion is not very expensive, abt $20 over so you can try whether it work wonder for you or not.
